The private model within the real estate industry has evolved over the last few years and as such, through our private equity arm, MSS is looking to exploit the market through the relationships it has built up through its principles over a number of years. In addition to the UK, we are focussed on deals in Scandinavia and in Germany

Alignment of interests

First and foremost, we believe that in the current era of investment, interests must be aligned at all stages of the investment process. As such we would look to commit equity, pari pasu alongside our partners in all private transactions we complete on. MSS looks to joint venture on a portfolio by portfolio basis with a number of different partners.

Adding value at the start, along the way and at the end

The real estate market can often be crowded with many investors chasing the same assets. With many opportunities in the market, we will only seek those that are of an off market nature and have at least one unique selling point that allow for strong returns via careful management. Our expertise, knowledge and experience allow us to source deals that many never encounter, research and analyse the deal and then only present it to investors once we are 100% confident in the deal ourselves.

Through our UK team and various European based operating partners we are able to complete transactions and then manage the assets throughout the lifespan of the investment.

Investment Criteria

We operate in deals that cover all aspects of the real estate market, commercial and residential, UK and Europe and corporate finance. Our investment partners typically require returns over a 5 year timeframe of 20% IRR and 2x equity multiple, however we are aware the every deal is different and as such these requirements are not set in stone and we are flexible depending on the nature of the individual opportunity.

MSS have unique penetration into the Danish market with the ability to access off market opportunities as well as source attractive financing. Lead by the Group Chairman, a native Dane with 30 years property investment experience, the MSS team have worked with the full spectrum of the on the ground project delivery industry specialists. MSS provide the ideal gateway to cross border investment into Denmark by blending their specialist local knowledge and experience with their London based access to capital partners. We believe we are the perfect project partner and fund manager for Internationals and Danish nationals to access excellent real estate and asset backed investment opportunities in Denmark.
